✦ Santa Catalina, Panamá ✦
An intimate eco farm retreat nestled between the Pacific Ocean and Panama's lush rainforest — a place to breathe, reconnect, and truly unplug.
ADAMA — meaning "earth" in Hebrew — is a small-scale permaculture farm perched in the hills above Santa Catalina. Organic gardens, fruit trees, and native forest meet in perfect harmony. Guests wake to birdsong and fall asleep to the ocean breeze.
We grow our own fruits, vegetables, and herbs, raise chickens, and care for the land with love. Every meal, every detail, is crafted with intention — because this place was born from a dream of living differently.
"One of the most magical places I've ever stayed. The connection to nature, the warmth of the hosts, and the sound of the jungle at night — truly transformative."

Each of our three cabañas is named after a tropical flower that blooms right here on the farm. Lotus floats serenely above the garden. Hibiscus blazes with colour in the hillside breeze. Ginger hides in the deep shade of the forest edge. All built with natural bamboo and wood, designed to make you feel held by the land.
"Woke up to howler monkeys and fell asleep to crickets. The farm-to-table breakfast was extraordinary. We never wanted to leave."
"The Lotus cabaña is a dream. So peaceful, so beautiful. The hosts arranged our surf lessons and Coiba trip seamlessly — genuinely above and beyond."
"A hidden gem. The bamboo cabins are super clean, the natural pool is wonderful. At night the frogs sing you a concert. We want to go back!"

How a dream became a living, breathing sanctuary
We arrived in Santa Catalina with a backpack, a dream, and a deep longing for a simpler life — one rooted in the land, shaped by the seasons, and shared with people who care about the world.
We cleared, planted, and built. The cabañas were constructed using local wood, bamboo (cana Blanca), and traditional techniques. Every nail, every beam, every garden bed — made with our own hands and the help of our community.
We named our cabañas after the flowers that first bloomed on the farm — Lotus, Hibiscus, and Ginger. Each one reflects a different mood, a different energy, a different way of being in nature.
Guests from around the world found their way to ADAMA. Surfers, families, solo travelers — all drawn to the same thing: a place that feels honest, alive, and deeply nourishing.
We came from far away and put down roots here in the Panamanian rainforest. We know this land — its rhythms, its creatures, its seasons. We'll share it all with joy. Whether you need surf tips, a quiet corner to read, or a farm-cooked meal at sunset — we're here for you.
Three flowers, three sanctuaries — each one a world of its own
A beautiful bamboo (cana Blanca) cabaña nestled in the garden with a natural pool view. The open-air design lets morning breeze drift through as you wake. Double bed, two sofa beds, fully equipped kitchen, private shower, and a hammock on your personal terrace.
"The Lotus cabaña is unlike anything I've experienced. Waking up to the pond and the birds — pure magic."
Bright, full of life and jungle sounds — Hibiscus is a stunning bamboo cabaña surrounded by lush green. Fan, double bed, two sofa beds, private shower with compost toilet, fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace that overlooks the natural pool and garden.
"Everything about our stay was perfect! Even better than the photos show. The hosts have a great eye for detail and the environment."
The most secluded of the three, Ginger hides beneath a canopy of trees where ginger flowers bloom year-round. Built from cana Blanca and wood, this cabaña offers maximum jungle immersion. At night the frogs sing you a concert.
"It felt like a second home to us. The cabins are super clean and there's everything you need. At night the frogs sing you to sleep."
"Back to basic, forward to better"
